CIC Consulting Informático (CIC) is a SME founded in Santander at 1990. The company was created with the goal to offer services and consulting to the local business at the Spanish region of Cantabria and with the vision of developing a robust company all over Spain.

Up to day, CIC is a Spanish company having clients all over Spain and abroad and it offers to their clients a wide systems solution.

CIC provides to their clients the Information Systems and Telecommunications required for their business and it also assists them from the process production to the management and the decision take required for the well doing of their business. CIC develops those systems and manages them running.

CIC has offices in Santander and Madrid and it is currently looking for expansion in UK. CIC has more than 140 staff all of them very well qualified and with a wide working experience not only in Spain but abroad. CIC staff is continuously updating their technological knowledge in the different sectors of our business.

CIC offers to their clients consulting of their business process and Business Intelligence solutions. CIC tailors applications such us Internet Portals, Integration solutions, Health Information Systems, Mobility solutions, Managing solutions (ERP and CRM) and Integration with Geographical Information Systems (GIS), among others.

CIC has a wide experience in design and construction telecommunication nets and engineering solutions Inet. We have support contracts not only to the private but also civil sector.

CIC has invested in Research, Development and Innovation projects (R&D and innovation) from the beginning of its activity. In this line, CIC has joined several international projects and it has promoted the transfer of the technological knowledge between the university and the private companies. CIC invests 75% of its resorts to develop services and R&D and innovation offering those innovated solutions latter to our clients, adapting to their needs and making a clear advantage and differentiation vs. their competitor.

Quality is another of our mayor goals at CIC. The skill of using working methodologies allows maximizing the efficiency of the projects and offering the best practices to our customers. For example, the case of CIC package of SGRWIN and Project Vision. CIC has established a Management Quality System certificated by the Spanish government since 2004 (ISO 9001 2000, reg. n. ER-1736/2004), Microsoft´s Gold Certified Partner since 2004, R&D and innovation Spanish certification for the health project “MEDICAL RECORD VIEWER” in 2008 (reg. n. 068/0615/08) and more recently CMMI certification level 2 since June 2009 (reg. n. 13194).
